Julie Bishop, M.D. was named Orthopaedic Educator of the Year in June 2008 in recognition of her excellence in teaching and mentoring of orthopaedic residents.
Dr Bishop has been invited to participate in a new program of the OSU College of Medicine’s Center for Education and Scholarship. The first Faculty Teaching Scholars Program (FTSP) was launched in September 2008. Limited to twelve College of Medicine faculty members, the program provides formal training in educational theory, teaching skills, peer review, educational scholarship and leadership.
