in the U.S. February 2007 Columbus Children’s Hospital has earned inclusion on Child magazine’s coveted Top 10 list for the first time, ranking sixth in the nation. In the sub-specialty rankings, Columbus Children’s ranked 6th in the nation in providing outstanding Orthopedic services. Columbus Children’s Hospital is an affiliated training site for the Ohio State University Orthopaedic Residency Program. Several of the orthopaedic physicians who helped Columbus Children’s Hospital achieve this ranking also hold teaching appointments at The Ohio State University. This list includes Martin Torch, M.D., Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and Director of Orthopaedic Education of OSU residents at Children’s Hospital. Also included are Kevin Klingele, M.D., John Kean, M.D., Allen Beebe, M.D., James Popp, M.D., and Jan Klamar, M.D., who all hold Clinical Assistant Professor appointments at The Ohio State University.
